Mentone Grammar's comprehensive Wellbeing program supports our students to be happy, healthy and high achieving.

At Mentone Grammar, our Wellbeing program is integrated within the fabric of our School culture to ensure it is effective, authentic and encompassing.

Every staff member plays a role in our Wellbeing program and supports our professional Wellbeing team. These key people build relationships of trust and respect with students so they have a safe environment to discuss their feelings or concerns, and develop proactive strategies to manage them.

Mentor Program

Our Mentor Program is tailored to the different needs of each year level.

In Eblana, trusting relationships with Class Teachers are key for students to feel safe and comfortable. In Bayview and Greenways, Mentors provide a solid foundation of support for students to practice their independence and explore their sense of self.

In Years 10-12, students benefit from a vertical Mentor Program through our House system, guided by House Coordinators and House Mentors.

Wellbeing Team

In addition to our Mentor Program, students are supported by a professional Wellbeing team which consists of School Counsellors, School Chaplains and a School Nurse. Our Learning Enhancement faculty also underpins our proactive approach to Pastoral Care.

Our staff work to ensure that our new students experience a smooth transition into our School and benefit from the same level of high quality professional and personalised pastoral care enjoyed by all our current students.
